best way to pull suitcase portable skis or sled

I would be easy to pull but you would have to make something solid to attach the sled to you wheeler.Right now I just have a rope so you need someone to sit on the sled and keep it from running into you as you slow down. Also I used downhill skies (wide ones) so you can load up 2-300 lbs and not have to worry about deep snow. The wide skies keep everything up on top of the snow even in a foot or more.

Just take some PVC, run the rope thru it and secure it. I cross them up and place a bungee (or duct tape) in the middle to secure the cross point. This is for snowshoeing/x-county skiing into remote area (BWCAW for example) and not wanting to have the sled knock you over on the downhill portages. Just another idea that could be applied to the sled being attached to and pulled behind an ATV or as in my case, an old Alice Pack Frame attached to my back. Lots of great ideas here, though!!

As far as skis go, I have an old Goodwill pair permanently attached to the bottom of my Guide and LOVE the abuse they absorb. Hyfax? We don't need no steenkin' Hyfax!

I was just out and with plenty of ice and using an atv any way, I just used the trailer I pull the atv with to pull the house and all my gear. This year has been perfect with lots of ice and no snow.
