jig size?

What jig size do you recommend for taking crappies? Sunnies?

I like to fish a lot of size 8 and 10 horizontal jigs for panfish. They seem to be your typically size range for a variety of conditions. Going smaller to say a size 12 or even to fractions of ounces like 1/64 or as low as 1/200oz can be necessary if trying to finesse negative fish into biting. Upsizing can have its role too. But, I would pick up some jigs between the sizes of 8 to 12 if I had to choose between just a few sizes.
