Affects of dog medicine

I have had my 1.5 yr old yellow on a small dose of prednisone (5mg) every other day for several months due to an inflammatory issue. Can she become tired out faster in the field because of it? My vet didn't seemed too concerned, but I always like to hear from others.

The dose of predisone that your dog is on will not make it get more tired in the field. We have a 7 yr. old lab that has been on a much higher dosage for 3 yearsdue to allergies.

She goes all day and does not quit.
