wht is hyfax

heard all this talk bout hyfax just kidna wondering wht it is and why it makes um pull so much easier..also if this not already on bottom can u buy it and for how much?

Hyfax are a dense slippery plastic material that thread onto a snowmobile's rails, on the rear skid. The snowmoblie's track has metal clips, hence the name track clips, that slide on these hyxax. Snow provides the lubrication between the track clip and the hyfax. Hyfax last a long time in powdery and deeper snow conditions, because of this lubrication factor, but wear out much faster in pack snow or running acroos ice.

Knowing this you could buy HYfax at any dealer, any make, and in any color. Just cut to length.
