bmc
I see the local L and M store has the Aqua View Scout's in stock around $200. I'm contemplating picking one up, but have a couple questions. Does anyone else have this model and what do you think of it? Does this sound like a decent price?Brian
0 Deitz Dittrich
Bmc- I had the oppertunity to use a prototype of the new Aqua-Vu Scout this summer at an Aqua-Vu sales meeting on Lake Mille Lacs. I used it for 2 days, and also had my Aqua Vu MC2X in the boat so I could use them side by side. During the day light hours I could tell no diffference, EXCEPT that the Scout was easier to use. The lights on the unit are not as good as the higher priced units, the Scout uses IR(infra red) not the LED lights. So your night time viewing will not be as good. With all that being said.. for the $199.99 price point that they are selling the Scout at.... They are going to sell a TON of them. For $200 its an awesome unit!
