decoy
I want to put some runners on the bottom of my sled. I have some of the flexible material to use. My question is:How do you attach it to the sled. Drill holes of course and use rivets or small bolts? If you use rivets, do you pound them flat on the inside. I guess I don't want a bunch of metal sticking up from the floor...Any comments or suggestions? Thanks, decoy
FISHER ED
For the hyfax kits I make for guys I use truss head machine screws. They have a larger head than pan head screws. Just countersink the hole a little so the head is protected and use nyloc nuts on the inside of the sled. Hyfax strips work great for making your sled track behind an ATV or snowmobile. Good luck.
