Any one have a site there? We are looking at buying a lot there and just wondering if any one else from the forum has one there.

Also would like input on used trailors, as to what to watch for as far as hidden damage.

Are those older slide outs worth the money to buy one, do they tend to leak around the seal area?

Thanks, Benny

benny,, i used to have a lot with trailor in sherwood forest,,,kinda miss it in a way,, you own the lot, and pay taxes, although taxes are minimal,, you also pay an annual assocaition fee.im not sure what that might be now..lots of rules and regulations to adhere to there. so read them over carfully ask for a copy of it.in case theres something about that u just cant live with..was nice to be right across from myr mar marina tho,,

Yep there are a lot of rules, but I like the idea of being able to leave the wife and kid there while I go out on the pond. They can go use the club house or just visit with the nieghbors.

I know a few people there so far, the association fee is around 500 now, lots go for 6K or more.

I spent the last 4 years at Agate Bay resort,Dean and Renea are wonderful and our daughters get along great. But there just isn't any thing to do there but fish, so when it's rough out there and I go out with out the family they are calling me on the FSR soon after I get to the right spot to fish.

So I am opting to get into a camping/familly resort set up for the kids.

yes its a great place for the kids,, if your still looking try to find an outside lot that borders the woods, its more private and in the cul de sacs off the main road youll apprecaite it more.
