Any one ever been to this campground. Want a nice campsite close to the water so we can easily carry the canoe down to the water. Any experience would be helpful.

I've driven threw there, but never stayed there before. The campground isn't right on the water. You can drive down to the boat landing and park there well you are out canoeing. Its a really nice place. The bike trail goes right threw it.

BOOOOOOO!! Go to the Boundary waters. J/K I know we all don't have the time to make it to the BWCAW but Sakatah is not that nice at all. You will have a little trouble staying right on the water at any state park. Try the st. croix or private camp grounds. Good luck.
