Lab pups

9 lab pups just born last night. Still awaiting a new owner are: a black female $400. This is the first advertisement for these pups and we expect them to go very fast. Dam is a chocolate with AKC Senior Hunter title. She is hunted extensively, is an exceptional marker for dog games/waterfowl hunting and has a great nose for pheasants. Would point if trained. Eyes have a current CERF, elbows are OFA normal, and hips are OFA excellent (as were her mothers). Sire is is a black out of Barracuda Blue. Has Senior Hunter title working on master.
This is a rare chance to get a pup out of parents that are both titled. We have sold 2 litters of pups from this breeding and all are doing well. Their use varies from house dog to occasional hunter to serious hunter/dog games. Pups will have guarantees on eyes and hips, have first shots, introduced to gun fire, and, if the weather holds, introduced to water. Pups will be sold with limited registration which will be lifted upon proof of OFA and CERF registration. Taking this to the top as a black female became available for sale. Although these pups won't hunt this fall, they will be ready to go full bore next season with proper training.

I'm taking one! If you're looking for a pup to be ready for next fall, I really think you should talk to Bryce. I was at his house yesterday, saw how well they are cared for, got to know the momma dog, and left very impressed. I know I am buying a dog from the right people.

I figure I will give up some time in the field this year to invest in the dog. But, hey, that's what it is, an investment.

Quick update on the pups as only 1 black female is still available. Pups are 3 weeks old, eyes and ears are open, walking has started but is still wobbly. They are starting to wrestle and set up the pecking order. Going to be a hard litter to choose from. Glad we got another week to choose between the 2 chocolate females due to airline shipping rules. Will probably come down to the last minute.

6 weeks old and hauling their first duck around the garage. I've seen pups that wont do this at 6 months. Have a party coming to look at the last female tommorrow. Come take a look before they go home next weekend. The one we are keeping will always be here and 2 that are flying to Alaska will be here another week. Reserve a spot for next years final litter for this female.

FMers, someone here is really missing an opportunity by not grabbing that last black female. It is every bit the puppy equal of the one I took. In fact, they were so equal we left it up to my 7 year old daughter to choose.
