boat list

Question

I have a 1775 Lund that lists to one side when driving on a lake. I didn't check to see if the big motor is positioned properly. Could this be the problem. It is only a slight list but still wonder what is causing it when the boat is up on plane.

It probably isn't your motor... you could check it, but it's probably not off much. It could lean for a couple of reasons though... your starting battery is on the drivers side, you sit on the drivers side, depending on the motor you have you may have a oil tank on the drivers side...

Fixing it could be another thing.. try and re-locate some of the heavy objects you have to the other side, if possible (I realize this is easier said than done)

Thanks Marine man, I'll check that out but if I remember right it lists toward the passenger side and the battery motor is on the driver's side, could it have anything to do with steering linkage?
