How big is the father of the pups? Are they blocky looking labs? Does the father or mother show any signs of pointing? Where are you located if we wanted to come and see them?

The pups are up at On-Line Retrievers just north of Hwy 23 between Bock and Ogilvie. To protect the pups from any kind of infection, etc, David doesn't like visitors until the pups are about 5 weeks old and have had their first shots. We'll be setting up an "open house" around Feb 20th.
The father is about a 75-80lb dog so they should grow up to be medium size labs, maybe a little more streamlined than the big bears you sometimes see. You can see Mako's picture at on-lineretrievers.com in the stud service section. David says there a couple though that look like they might grow a little larger. As far as pointing, I haven't trained her for it but she did point the last pheasant of the season in a downed oak from about 5 yards away. Either that or she winded it and was just waiting for me get closer knowing how well I shoot!

Tks Hunter2 but it looks like I'm going to run out of females. After I take mine, there's only going to be 1 left from the litter. I'll be down to 2 males and 1 female. I just brought them home today from the breeder and can take a good look at them. The first female was selected tonite!
