Gas question

uffdapete

Question

What exactly is the difference between non-oxygenated gas and regular unleaded? Is the non-oxygenated version recommended for all small engines & outboards? Why or why not?
Are there engines where it should not be used?

Non-oxygenated gas dosent have the added corn alcohol. It dosent break down as fast as oxygenated gas and burns cooler. A big no no is putting heet-isotropy alcohol in oxygenated gas for snowmachines or any small engine for that matter. Also its recommended to rejet your carb 2 sizes over if your going to use oxygenated gas in snowmachines.
In theory a gas additive like heet isnt needed for any engines in the winter using oxygenated gas because it all ready contains alcohol.
