1979 40 hp Mercury Outboard for sale

I have a '79 40 hp Merc for sale. The motor and lower unit are in good condition. It ran when we took it off of the pontoon 2 years ago. I don't have the controls. $500 or best offer. I have pics if you would like me to email them to you.

i am assuming since you had it on a pontoon, you don't have the tiller handle on it. do you have a handle for it?

I actually have just the tiller for an early 80's Merc 40. I switched it to remote throttle/steering and still have the tiller in the garage. If this helps either of you two out, let me know.
