NADA book for a 1986 is about $6500...why are you asking so much for a 1981 model? It might be worth half of what you're asking, but that's even pushing it!

i was thinking about the same thing, but i guess you can ask what you like for it. there are lots of units like this out there for considerably cheaper. not saying yours isn't the nicest one though. still sounds a little high. maybe you don't really want to sell it, and are just looking for bites?
this is however the camper selling season, so a person will have the best shot at getting the best prices right now.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, you see stuff this age priced in the 4000 to 5000 range - you also see dealers asking 10000 or so. This one is well above average for it's age, and you wouldn't be afraid to take your shoes off in it.
