Fishing Tournament

There will be a fishing tournament on Trout Lake on December 27 in front of the fire hall in Coleraine. The tournament will be held from noon to 3 p.m. There is no entry fee and prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third largest fish. There will be a raffle of $2 with over 150 prizes including a digital camera, fossil watch, jacket, fishing poles, and various gift certificates. Bring your kids also, there will be sliding and skating for them if they aren't up for fishin. There will also be sloppy joes, chips, and hot cocoa provided. The prizes, raffle, and food will all be in the fire hall after the tournament. Donations accepted.
The tournament is being put on to raise money for a softball complex in memory of Jenny Guyer. Jenny was killed earlier this year in a car accident. She was in her second year of college and loved to play fastpitch. She was the kind of girl that you couldn't meet without her somehow making you smile. This is for a really good cause.
