A tough bite was found on Lake Tetonka/Sakatah on Sunday. Due to crystal clear water and high skies the larger fish were in a funk. Lots of 10"-14" walleye were biting to keep the interest of the anglers up.

The team of Cory & George Bjorgaard of Inver Grove Heights won the 1st MWT Qualifier of the year. They were pulling planner boards in 4' of water to land 4 weigh-able walleyes on Lake Sakatah.

Todd Chadderdon & Dave Domonoske of Le Center and Waterville took home 2nd place by fishing Lake Sakatah as well.

Sonny & Mary Arndt's substitute Denny Stover from Waterville caught 3rd place fishing by himself.

"Big Fish" honors went to Quintin McCarthy & Mike Walerak from Janesville and Rose Creek for a 2.97 lb fish. They received $500 cash and 4th place.

2nd place in the "Big Fish" Category went to Brady & Bob Bjorgaard from Inver Grove Heights and Viking for a 2.48 pound fish. They took home $270 cash and 5th place.
