Eric and his partner and Adam and I were fishing the same spot pretty much. That spot shut down after Sunday AM. We only ended up with two fish on Sunday and they had 3. The fish we got Sunday were not the ones we were looking for. The Illinois River is an interesting system and can produce some monster sauger. Big congrats to Eric and his partner for a good money finish. Time to start planning for Big Stone.

Good job to Eric and Dan. 80th?....oh well you can't win them all. We learned the river, had a good time, and caught plenty of fish.
