Northern Lights Lake

Heading to Northern Lights Sept 8-12. Anybody fished NL this summer ? Curious for some reports compared to past few years. How's the lake level compared to last year? What baits seem to work ? Thanks.

Guess I'll answer my own questions. Lake level is down, about the same as last year. Fishing was slow. Eight guys averaged 3 walleyes for 3 days . All were on the small side, biggest about 17 ". Used mostly jig and minnow and found the fish at 24-30 ft. Best fishing was early morn and in Trafalgar Bay. Oh well, we'll try again next year...............
