Sturgeon River Ontario

Anyone do any fishing on this river? IF so, how has it been latley and what should a guy expect if we head up there as far as what kind of fish and what live baits work?

I was on the Sturgen River last week. We did really well. Lots of 20 to 27 inch walleyes and a few nothern pike between 10 and 15 lbs. We had the best luck using bright colored fire ball jigs tipped with either leeches or fathead minnows. Gold Redeyes and Orange Spoons worked best for Pike.
