Any info on Northern Light lake in Ontario?

Recommended Posts

We are heading up this Thursday on this lake and was wondering what is the best lures and bait to use for walleyes? Will be going with other people who have fished it before, but I won't be in contact with them until Thursday. Looking to buy tackle before then. Appreciate any infor.
Chow for now,
GF

I have caught fish on Lindy Rigs and spinners. Seems like I did best on a longer 4-5' leader and blew up a crawler with a rattle bead in front of the hook. Small jig drifted or slowly trolled on rock piles just off of riefs did real well.
This time of year I would have some minnows as well. We went last Aug. and had no problem finding fish. It was our 1st time. I got a great map at the Canoe outfitters in Grand Marais.
I would guess a lot of your fishing will be up around Tralfauger bay and the river from Sag.
E-mail me if ya need more details. walleyes4me32 at aol dot com
