English River Eyes

Hi, Has anyone had any luck on the English River north of Ignace towards Barrel Lake for walleyes and pike in June?

I have gone up to the English every year in June and all I can say is that the walleye action is superb. I do fish down river quite always so I am not sure about the exact area you are talking about, but hopefully the action is just as good. The one thing I have learned about fishing a river verses a lake is there are a whole new set of rules on what type of conditions produce good fishing.

The English River in the Ignace area is an excellent fishery. June is the best time of the year except for late May, July, August and September.
