I have never fished crow but was wondering what to expect for fishing. Just wondering what is considered a decent day for lakers. We plan on drilling a lot of holes.

How is the slush?

I've never fished Crow, but fished Whitefish Bay extensively (15 miles away) Crow, you won't get the size, but you will get more in numbers. OK day = 2-3 lakers a day, etc, etc.

That's a question that is hard to answer. I've gone zero for 3 days and then hit 5 or 6 a day the next trip. We've been to Otterskin and Shingwak and Rowan which are off of Crow and they generlly produce 8 to 15 trout for a group of 4 per day. We've also seen 30 fish days for 4. The best thing to do is get some info from the resort.

I'd hit the steep drop offs. Fish 35-70 feet with white tubes. Islands facing main lake are best. Fished Crow about 10 days the last few winters. Our best day on Crow for 5 guys was 24 plus 2 muskie. The worst day was 2 trout and 1 muskie. Where are you staying?

Thanks for the info guys. I was planning on using tubes. Anyone have a certain type of minnow they like to use on tip ups?
Anyone hear about slush conditions, we'll be on sleds?

Thanks again
