EVINRUDE 115 PROBLEM

Help me out- The motor starts and runs perfect, the problem is that when running at higher speed the motor drops down to where its hardly running, its still smooth,almost like its running out of fuel- if I sit for a minute it takes off fine, but after a a few seconds of wide open it does it again. Any thoughts ? Thanks

sounds like your gas line might not be sealing right have you tried replacing it?
if you do DO NOT USE AFTERMARKET FITTINGS!!!
use only factory fittings from a dealer
that aftermarket stuff is dump!!

MOTOR PROBLEMS? COUPLE YEARS AGO MY FRIEND HAD A YAMAHA THAT DID ABOUT SAME THING. WE TOOK IT TO A DEALER AND FOUND DIRT IN THE WATER JACKET OR THERMOSTAT AND WOULDN'T LET MOTOR TO COOL DOWN. IT WOULD RUN GOOD FOR A LITTLE BIT AND BOGG DOWN. SO MAYBE YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.
