ice near nestor falls

hey guys coming up in the first week of may to rowan lake for a fly-in trip any reports on ice conditions and do you think it will be off by may 3.also any body ever been to rowan lake last year was my first time and had a blast lakers everywhere we fished.

hey tombow im manily a walleye guy only fished lakers a few times but last year on rowan the best method was deep diving cranks the walleye minnow jr.in silver or gold was the best.we did get some on dead bait as well but trolling and casting was the best it sure is fun casting on a rocky reef and seeing a huge laker follow it in.

Sorry to horn in on your thread, don't have an ice report for you. Just curious about your laker tacle and techniques, if you'd be willing to share. Love them lakers, mayun!!
