11-MILE REPORT

Recommended Posts

Fished 11-mile from my boat on fathers day from 6:30 am till 2:00 pm.Started trolling near coyote ridge for kokes but got skunked.Headed upstream and saw many risers so started throwing fly/bubble and lost 20" bobo at 8:30.No more bites so headed upsteam to rocky flats- friend had pike bite off his white tube jig-we watched it-about a 30"er.In 10' of water. Then we fished on west side between sucker cove and lazy boy, water was murky, unlike rest of lake which was crystal clear,I lost 2 kokes on rainbow croc missed several hits, friend caught 17"cutty on white tube jig.All within 20 mins at about noon. Then wind started making it real tough. We fished several bays after but nada.Better to have loved and lost...
