Jsut got back from Twin Lakes, the action was fast and furious all morning until 1:30 and then things died off a bit. The ice is around 16" and I was able to drive out on it.

Gilles:

the bite had been great but the ice conditions got a little soupy last week. We caught three bows by the boat ramp. The guys at the inlet caught a few and the action was slow by the dam. Beautiful weather though!

Lucky 7, Although there are a ton of trout in San Isabel it can be tough. The ice there also can be a little unstable, I actually went through 4 feet of water one year thank god it was no deeper.

Gilles;I've only been to Isabel a couple of times this winter, the bites been typical with the past, plus an abundace of fish. These trout seem to suspend more than trout in other bodies of water I've fished,it's not uncommon to hookup a foot below the ice.Electronics is a must at Isabel for me.Have great success with pink rat finkie like jigs or small black or gray tj jigs tipped with meal worm.------GOOD LUCK SW icer
