Hey Dan, how did the fishing trip with the scouts go? I hope you all had a safe day. By the way, how was the ice at Boyd?

I would like to thank John and Don for all their help making our Scout trip to Boyd Lake a success. Although the fishing was slow, all the kids got to reel in at least 1 fish and they all had a blast. The ice was 8" and people were fishing the entire lake. This snow tonight will not help the ice though, I'm afraid! It was nice again to put faces to user names and find them to be such nice people. Thanks so much,

I second what Dan said! We had a great day! It was awesome to see Dan and John (John19) hand off fish after fish to a young person to get them hooked on ice fishing. The weather was awesome as well. I look forward to more opprtunities to meet the great fishermen I talk to on this site. John and Dan it was my pleasure to meet you guys. Dan, thanks for setting this up today!

Dan, Great job putting together the trip for the kids! Excellent idea getting them out there, I think they all enjoyed it!(Even the Dads!) Taylor had a blast with all the kids, she talked about it all evening. It was my pleasure to help out, and to meet you and lucky7. It's always nice to meet people who share the same enthusiasm for fishing as I have. Make sure you guys post future trips,(especially to Glendo, Dan!) so we can "hook" up again on the ice.
