Does anyone know how to find out what the conditions on these two lakes are? I've tried to call around but no one seems to know.

You can call the DOW guy in Trinidad. I forgot his name but her drives by there occasionally.

lucky7, you got any other ideas about contacting someone about these two lakes. I can't find anybody around that area that seems to know whats up.

Nevermind lucky7, I finally got a hold of someone in Cuchara, they both have ice but they arn't safe enough yet.
Taylor is good to go but if you go to Blue Mesa you might just fall through, there's only a couple of inches on the east end.
