I am not picky on what lake I fish early.....as long as there is open water and I can coax a fish or two into biting smile.gif I guess farm ponds produce best first, then shallower southern lakes, with the bite moving north as those water temps get into the mid 40's. Bring on that spring walleye bite! smile.gif

I start on small streams and ponds that I ice fish.These are close to home.So I can catch a good bite when it starts.As it gets warmer I start to tavel all over to hot bites.I plan to fish3 whole days a week this summer.So will be looking for people to fish with.ICE JOHN FISH ON
