What lake do guys like to try first and what do you like to fish for I like a little lake in greene county called spring lake it warms fast and the crappies will hit early...

I am not picky on what lake I fish early.....as long as there is open water and I can coax a fish or two into biting I guess farm ponds produce best first, then shallower southern lakes, with the bite moving north as those water temps get into the mid 40's. Bring on that spring walleye bite!

I start on small streams and ponds that I ice fish.These are close to home.So I can catch a good bite when it starts.As it gets warmer I start to tavel all over to hot bites.I plan to fish3 whole days a week this summer.So will be looking for people to fish with.ICE JOHN FISH ON
