Mounting rod holders

i have a lund and have orderd 2 flush rod holders but they do not include the hardware. what should i use to attatch the holders to the boat? i'm thinking 3" long screws will be needed.Nick

If the mounting area is just aluminum, you might want to put bolts and washers underneath, so it will have more surface to hold against pulls. Otherwise stainless steel screws will work fine. I actually mounted some on a Pro-V with just aluminum, used 4 SS screws and never had a problem.
