How's the fishing on the Creston and Afton area lakes? Hoping to be up there Mothers Day weekend to do a little boating and fishing. Any info would help.

I havent been in about a week, but was on 3mile a week or so ago and did ok for some eyes, but the bite was tough. Heard of crappies picking up as well. Same on 12mile, but I havent been there in about 2weeks. Eyes were running smaller but biting better then. If you make it to 12Mile keep the yellow bass!!!!!!!!!!

Try Green Valley for big bass..got nice panfish in there too..but the bass bite in May is usually very good...I always fish the shoreline between the campground and swimming beach .. always a great place to start... would try the point across the lake from the campground next..there is some stickbeds off it..good luck...wished I had time to get there myself...
