hunting land south of the river

Well guys,

I am just wondering if anyone knows of some deer hunting spots down by farmington? I am a bow hunter and would like to find a chunk of land to hunt by myself. I work odd schedules so, I hunt on odd days. Don't really have a lot of time to drive up north or drive around and look for spots. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is some public land around the area. go to the dnr web site and check out the compass.
