Lunker
Where has anyone been having success with carp recently? I just got back from the black dog outlets after 2 hours of fishing with not even a nibble. It was the first time I've gotten out for carp in a while, and was kinda frustrating. Any ideas? Crawlerman
That lil pond in South Saint Paul is still producing; altough it's slowed down a little. My buddy got a 7.5er out of there a few days ago. E-mail me (found in info) and I could give you directions to it?
mtrue68
Sunday my girlfriend and I went fishing for carp on the island just below the Ford Dam and had good results using a paste bait consiting of flour, corn meal, oatmeal and water then molding it on the hook. I caught about 15-20 carp and she caught 6 in about 2 1/2 hrs. It was a lot of fun. TonyCarpBoy
Check the small creeks. The minnehaha has a few great pools between the falls and the river that usually have a lot of carp in them.I almost always go for small creek carp. They are easier to find (see them) and seem more willing to bite (moving water provides an "eat it now or it will drift away" incentive to the fish)I will share a couple of spots but only via private email. I don't like to advertise my spots.[email protected]Tony
