Info wanted about fishing in "St Louis Park" area

Can anyone give me any info on fishing in the St Louis Park area of Minneapolis. Any good websites regarding this would help. I am looking for, maps of the area showing the lakes and rivers, the different species of fish that can be caught and in which lakes or rivers, the methods used to catch them and any good fishing tackle shops in the area. But remember i am English and i am not familiar with the American fish species or thier 'nicknames'. Thanks.

This is probably he most informative HSOforum your going to find on fishing in the twin cities area from anglers viewpoints. Its easy to get current fishing reports and good locations to fish from other anglers, and if need be a partner to fish with that knows the area well.

For other information on specific lakes and rivers in the metro area, and information on species of fish in our waters (and identification) a good site to look at is the department of natural resources (DNR).
