Tip-up alert

I used the Blue Tipz tip-up sensors yesterday, with my Galaxy S4 phone which has low energy Bluetooth. I could concentrate on my bluegill jigging, didn't have to keep an eye on the two old school lighted flag Beaver Dams. This largemouth bit right before sunset and my phone alarm allowed me to see the flag still wiggling on the spring. CPR, just like the other that I jigged up with a spring bobber.

Nice! Maybe I need a new phone I always end up with a dead phone half way through fishing even without using Bluetooth!

I wish they had a stand alone handset to alert you instead of using thee phone.

Actually they do make a stand alone receiver that takes two AA batteries. It beeps and flashes when a flag goes up. It is also a booster and repeats the signal, so it can help with range reception issues.

Oh nice for some reason I thought that was just a booster. Looks Like I have something to buy for next season! Thanks for the info.
