Jim Kusuda
I typically use the Vexilar FS2000DT camera for scouting spots, looking at cover, weed color, fish presence and species. Yesterday I drilled another hole, set the camera about a foot off the bottom and turned it to see a forceps that I temporarily clipped to my jig. I watched my presentation and how the fish responded to jigging styles, jig types and what I tipped them with. I walked around and hole hopped as usual, but would come back to this one to watch my favorite show!
Brad B
I have been using my camera along with my flasher for a while now. the biggest thing I have noticed is that there has been times where I seen fish on the camera and the flasher didn't pick them up and vice versa, seen fish on the flasher but they were off the camera because of how they came in. Cameras have their time and place. for scouting and the run & gun type the Aqua view Micro is the perfect camera for that application. cameras also really help you see and learn how the fish react to your different presentations. bigblue
I noticed the FL 28 mounted on the Genz pack .Vex should offer this combo as it is a super simple foolproof killer combo . I have the same set up it's the ultimate run and gun unit. Maybe a profit margin thing but they should consider it. As for the camera the basic Scout is the best bang for the buck at $300 bucks . IMHO and that probably isn't worth much.
