where to fish on this river

Where should I try to fish on this bay on this river I go ice fishing where the sand is it is 3 ft deep and where the water is there is a creek on the marsh end or on the other end 5-6ft deep.

Cant tel by that pic thats for sure. I guess I would find weeds and fish near by them.

This river is dark stained and the only weeds are in a foot of water and that is froze.

Fish a major river a lot, Often times the main channel will run close to shore in a setback or backwash. This is a good place to start, if you can find the break and weeds you'll find fish.
