power pro line

gonna give the 5# test a try this season, i only fish for perch in lk simcoe in ontario, do you guys just use the line or do you attach a leader???? if so what kind of leader would you recomend and would you tie it directly to the power pro line ???? thanks

I like a small barrel swivel about 16-24" above my lure and use a clear mono "Shocker" leader attached to both.

For me it depends on water clarity and the amount of pike in the area, clear water I use a Berkley 100% fluro leader 2 feet up tied straight to the line.

On a side note I have stopped using braid or super lines when ice fishing because when hole hopping in cold weather it holds too much water making it freeze sooner.
