cfreund Posted December 10, 2013 Share Posted December 10, 2013 Does anyone know where you could ice fish for salmon? would it be worth trying on lake superior by Two Harbors or Duluth? i would just like to try catching a salmon through the ice. mwal Posted December 10, 2013 Share Posted December 10, 2013 Lake Superior usually does not freeze over enough to allow ice fishing except in area's near the Apostle Islands, Chequmagon Bay. I have never caught salmon just laker's brown's and rainbows. Around Duluth you would be inside the Ariel lift bridge where most would fish for Walleye and pike and perhaps a lost trout.
