Clam seat

Hey I just got a Clam one man I was wondering if you can change seats in it. The one it came with is just a bench looking thing no back rest or anything. It'd be nice to put maybe a small boat seat in or something. Thanks

sounds like you got the Kenai. you could change it out but it might make it so you wouldn't be able to get a travel cover on it if you did.

Ya couldn't remember how to spell it ha ha....I wonder if I got a fold down seat if that would let me cover it. I hear the cabelas covers are alittle big I bet that would work.

My friend called up clam and he got the clam stadium seat ordered specially from clam to put on his kenai, and it worked great.

now that I think about it you are right the swivel seat that folds flat, that would work since the part you sit on is the same height as the bench on the Kenai. the deluxe seat that fold on it's self would be to tall for the travel cover. I have the swivel seat in my Scout EXP and the cover is actually supported by the seat when it is laid flat.

I would contact clam and order a swivel seat for it. that would give you a back on the seat.
