Heading up to Ponisett this weekend. Anything going on?

The bite has slowed some at Poinsett and will be far too busy to fish on peacefully. You may want to take a short drive to Dry Lake. There will be less people and better fishing.
This would be my advice.Thompson will be a circus as well.

Fished Ponisett this moring(july 5) for 4 hours got one white bass and had another fish on but lost it plugging plugs in 13 feet of water.

Tried spinners and live bait with no luck.
