Looks sweet! Hopefully it doesn't have the annoying spool speed issues from the 6061. After trying that out I cancelled my order. I think this is a better design

What spool speed issues??? I have 2 6061's and are both amazing reels

The models I checked out at the ice show last year had this feeling that the spool was spinning faster than the handle. Which I realized it is but it was extremely odd. Felt like there was a tremendous amount of play in it. I adjusted everything and couldn't get rid of it. Because of this I refused my set aside reel.

Lol... agree its the most expensive developed ice reel out there I know of currently. But im willing to bet you sponsored guys who live and die by fishing have fishing poles and reels or equipment that are much more spendy... smile

But the funny thing is more and more tourney's are won by guys that are using Schooley reels. Our combos are less than $8 a piece and they won us a lot of money last year. So as Tod said I'll save my money so can get to the lake.
