ice 55 low voltage reading

I have a Ice 55 bought in 2008. Everything works good except the low voltage reading. With a fully charged battery as soon as I turn it on the low voltage flashes. The battery lasts all day when fishing so it works okay. Anyone else have this happen to their 55 ?

Just because the battery lasts all day does not mean it's not a bad battery. If it is still the original I would swap it out with a different one just to double check. The battery may carge fully, but to a lesser voltage than what the electronics want to see, thus giving you the low voltage warning. The Birds take very little out of a battery even after using it a full day so even a weak battery can last all day.
