Mike Walerak
Although I have not made it to either of them yet. I have heard nothing but good things about the walleyes in the Lake Alice. I am suspecting a winterkill after this winter in the lakes. The numbers on the GFP HSOforum indicate Alice is low in regards to walleye numbers. But I do remeber hearing some pretty darn good reports few years back. One safe betin that same area is Lake Cocheran. It has large 'eyes and very nice crappies. Hope this gives you a little heads up.mw

Mike Walerak
From the city of Clear Lake, take 22 east about 10 miles, Turn right on 486th St. and go about 4 miles, the landing will be on the left hand side. The majority of the lake is fairly shallow 7-10 ft.For the crappies during this time of year I would pitch jigs to trees/brush in the water along shore, they should be more than willing to cooperate. mw
