...actuallly thats funny & a great personal reminder for me, was gonna do that when saw something similar at the NAIFC kids event last season with my son....they did the same thing cept with old square plastic milk crate instead of 5 gal bucket

Nice. That's not a bad idea for open water fishing either.

Just be careful to leave the handle up before you put any rods in it if you are going to have to walk anywhere carrying your bucket. Might want to leave a space that you dont put a rod so you have an area designed for your arm to be when carrying it.

And if you stagger the pvc inside the bucket, it becomes easier to manage the rods with various types of reels
