Looking for opinions from people who have used them, or seen them used in person. They look like the ticket, just want to do a little resaearch before I possibly pull the trigger on one. I am a little nervous about the battery as I noticed a replacement runs about $200! Any commments would help, I appreciate it in advance.

I received mine and first impression is I am happy with the overall quality. Only concern is the safety interlock for the trigger. You need to slide the interlock over then pull the trigger. The interlock doesn't feel real solid and it is awkward to use. I am having a coupling built so I can put on a 6" nils bit. It will be interesting to see how many holes I can get out of one charge.

That is the obvious, same question I have, how many holes will I be able to get out of it? and what is its practicality? Thank you for the comment, it is nice to know they are quality machines. As far as the interlock; you have to slide it over to engage the throttle? Kind of like a miter saw or something? Just trying to get a feel of what that safety feature is like.

I would imagine changing bits would change the number of holes a person could expect to drill on one charge.

I had one in my hands and they seemed pretty well built! Love to see them in action this winter.

Saw one today at Fleet Farm and they look well built. Like to see how they work on the ice. Think the color is awesome!
