I would like to take my son on a merriam turkey hunt,would anyone be willing to give me any info on a place in South Dakota to go? I would deeply appreciate it.

Why not try hunting in the Black Hills? More public hunting than you can imagine and the birds to boot. I think that apps had to be in two weeks ago. I am not sure, but it might be unlimited tags for nonresident in the 'Hills. Check out the GF&P HSOforum and see where the extra tags are. Foster

Foster,I guess i was mislead,I was told South Dakota sold over the counter tags.I will check with the g&f to see if there is any tags available,thanks for the info.
