Through the ice

On ksfy last night they reported a truck going in on lake Sini!3 people from brookings unharmed!They were going to have more details at 10pm but i missed it.Does anyone have more info?Did they hit bad ice,Drive into open water or what?How thick was/is the ice on Sini?

There are actually two trucks in the drink. I am going out right now to watch Bunkers pull em out.

PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THE HEAVES! I have been following the reports of people going through, and all but two so far has been when a person has tried to cross a heave.

On a more positive note the fishng has been picking up on Sinai. More reports of big fish and a few perch are turning up here and there.

The fishing at Sinai has probably picked up lately as there is new structure in the lake. Has it been better fishing near the front bumpers or has the "hole" created by the pickup box been more effective? I know once the fish get inside the vehicles and figure out how to roll the windows up there is no way you can get them to bite. Seriously though, any word or tips on Bitter Lake - thinking about giving it a go tomorrow...

Actually, I had the best luck fishing as far as I possibly could be from the vehicles in the water. Once they pulled them out I relized why. They were Chevy's.
