I'm heading out to the Waubay area on January 2nd and was wondering if I need to license my portable for ice-fishing? I purchased a non-res season license last April and I think that is good until the end of January. Thanks for the info.

If you're just going to be using it during the day and taking off at night you don't need as license on the house.

South Dakota doesn't have any fish house license.
